Each account is eligible for one free event with up to 5 participants. You can choose any of the 10 available destinations. The event pass is valid until 30 days after the event end date, or 180 days after creation, whichever is later — same as paid events.
Why is credit card registration required if the event is free?
To prevent abuse. To enforce the one-free-event-per-account rule, we need to technically prevent the same card from claiming the free event under multiple accounts. We use Stripe Setup Intent: you only register the card, no payment is charged. The registered card can be used for your subsequent paid events without re-entering details.
I already used my free event. Can I get another?
The free event is limited to one per account. Even if you delete or cancel the event, the same account cannot obtain another free event. Subsequent events use standard pricing (¥550 / ¥330 / ¥220 per person based on size, tax incl.). If you delete your account and create a new one, the same credit card will still be blocked from redeeming the free event again.
Can I manage multiple events at the same time?
Yes. The organizer dashboard (/business/dashboard) lists all your created events. Each event has its own invite link, participant limit, and participant list. There is no limit on the number of events you can create.
How do I see who has completed their allergy setup?
On the event detail page (/business/tour/[id]), each participant row shows a status badge — 'Card Ready' or 'Setup Pending'. The summary card at the top shows the total counts (X ready / Y pending).
What if a participant changes their allergy info after the event has started?
When a participant updates their allergens from their settings page, both their card and the organizer dashboard reflect the change immediately, even after the trip has started. For significant changes, we recommend the participant notify the organizer directly.
What does the participant see?
When a participant opens the invite link, they see
(1) a consent screen about sharing info with the organizer, (2) Google or email sign-in, (3) an allergen selection screen, (4) the allergy card in the destination language. The UI auto-switches to the participant's preferred language (Japanese, English, Korean, or Chinese).
What can the organizer see about participants?
Only with the participant's explicit consent, the organizer dashboard shows:
• Selected allergens and severity
• Dietary restrictions (vegan, halal, etc.)
• Whether the participant carries an EpiPen (epinephrine auto-injector)
• Card setup status
Participants who have not consented appear as 'Not shared' — the organizer cannot view details. Participants can withdraw at any time from their settings page, which stops further sharing.
Is pricing in USD or JPY?
Payment is charged in JPY (tax-inclusive). Pricing: first 5 people free / ¥550/person (1-10) / ¥330/person (11-50) / ¥220/person (51+). A receipt is automatically issued by Stripe after each purchase.
